About John and Jordan

John, born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, and Jordan, originally from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and raised in the Philadelphia area, met online in 2018 and instantly connected during a trip to the New Jersey shore. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship for nearly two years, they built a deep bond rooted in mutual respect and support. Jordan moved to Pittsburgh in 2020, and they became engaged and married in 2023. Around that time, they also began to dream about building a family of their own. Their desire to create a fresh start and bring new life into the world grew even stronger after each experienced the profound loss of a brother within the span of two years—John’s brother in February 2023 and Jordan’s in March 2025.

United in their grief and compassion, they became even more determined to pursue fatherhood. In 2024, they contracted with Denise and began the IVF process, completing it in June 2025 with seven precious embryos. Now, John and Jordan are searching for the right surrogate to help them complete their family and honor the hope and love they’ve carried throughout their journey. They hope to have their first child within the next year and a second, a sibling for their first child, within the next three to four years.
